Eyes Forward

2 Chronicles 20:12b

O our God, we do not know what to do, but our eyes are fixed on you."

We need to keep our eyes forward at all times.
         Don't lose your focus.
                  Don't be distracted.

What happens when you are trying to do a task and it needs your full attention in order to complete the project?
Have you ever experienced getting distracted?
What do you do when you get off track?
What are the distractions?
       TV? Internet? Facebook? Pinterest? friends? jealousy? fear? debt? worry? pride? health issues?
       The list can go on and on.

God knew from the beginning of time we would be surrounded with distractions and things that hinder our focus on Him. That is why we read in the Bible the verses where He encourages us to keep our eyes on Him. (Hebrews 12:2)

Remember when Peter stepped out of the boat and was walking on the water towards Jesus.
What a GOD MOMENT!

In Matthew 14:22-36 we are told that while Peter was walking he saw the wind, became afraid and began to sink.
You see, as soon as Peter took his EYES off Jesus he got distracted.
As Peter began to sink he cried out "Lord save me!" verse 31 says,
                "IMMEDIATELY" JESUS reached out his hand and caught him.
Hallelujah! Jesus moves immediately!
We should be encouraged as WE CALL OUT HIS NAME AND CRY OUT TO HIM FOR HELP
JESUS WILL SAVE US!

If and when we begin to sink we must remember to cry out to Him and same Jesus save me!!!
