SOMETHING NEW

ISAIAH 43:18-19

"For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun!"

There is absolutely nothing boring about the Great and Mighty God we serve and love.
God is always alive, active and doing something new.

Did you know that God is creating new things and doing new things every second of every minute of every day?
You can't feel it or see it but He is creating millions of new cells in your body every moment to keep you alive. Everyday He is creating new babies, new plants, new................ the list is endless.
If you have lost the awareness of new life around you it is time to ask God to help you WAKE UP!

Ask God to help you open your eyes and look for Him working in your day.
If you ask and believe that you will receive, you will become refreshed by what you see.
Grab your Bible or cell phone Bible app and read the Word of God throughout your day. As you read the Word and conscientiously search for God's hand in your surroundings, He promises to show up.
Read Isaiah 55:11 or Psalm 1 or John 17

In order for God to do something new in your personal life, you must allow Him to get rid of the old stuff.
What is your old stuff?
Incorrect priorities, attitudes, friends, habits, worries..................
Give the old stuff to God and ask Him to replace them with His best new thing.

Is it possible that you and I could be holding onto something that God calls old?
Do we have a tight grip on something we know deep down inside God wants us to let go of?
We can never fully receive the new thing God is doing until we let go of the old things of the past.

When we begin a NEW LIFE IN CHRIST, we must let the old life and the "old way of life" go. Out with the old and in with the new.

2 COR. 5:17
"This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!"
Be encouraged! No matter how old or how young you are, you are invited to go with God who tells us in Scripture; "I am doing a new thing!"

Today's Thought:
I serve a God who says, "I am doing a NEW THING!"
