HEAR THE ANGELS

Luke 2:13-14

“And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying; “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

Have you ever thought about the incredible scene in heaven as the angels watched God send Jesus down to the earth, to redeem us from all our sins?
The angels were wrapped in wonder but they knew the meaning of the baby’s birth.
They knew God had come to earth.
What an amazing moment in heaven as the angels sang “Glory to God in the Highest.”

This Christmas season I am reminded that I need to slow down and stand in awe and wonder of the hand of God. Now is the perfect time to reflect on the true meaning of the birth of Jesus.

God promised He would send the world a Savior, and He fulfilled His promise in the birth of Jesus Christ.  The promise of salvation was fulfilled with the life, death and resurrection of God’s Son. While on the earth Jesus made another promise to come again to completely fulfill all of God’s Scripture. God is a promise keeper. And just as Jesus came to us as a baby to fulfill God’s promises you can be rest assured that He will come again to rule the earth.

Are you ready for the Savior’s return?
Right now is the best time to ask Jesus Christ into your heart and life to be your Lord and Savior.
You may know all about the Son of God but does He know you?
Today is the perfect day to grab your Bible and read the fulfilling of the promises of God.
When you have Jesus as your personal Savior and you truly begin to live your life for Him, like the angels, you too can sing with understanding “Glory to God in the Highest!”

"Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." Luke 15:10

Take a moment to read the following Scriptures from the Old Testament Bible Readings fulfilling the prophecy of the coming of a Savior: Deuteronomy 18:15; Psalm 72:10; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6-7 and be blessed!
