"Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you."
Do you struggle with prioritizing?
How do you know what to do first and what is the most important thing on your list?
Doing life without priorities will produce disaster.
This weeks Scripture tells us to actively, continually, habitually seek God first in our lives. Notice that God does not say that we can not do anything else. Taking care of your family, home, marriage and children are things that cannot and should not be neglected. God requires and expects us to take care of these things. However, God expects us not to have any other idols before Him. He is to be our first priority in our lives.
When we keep God the first priority as our focus then, we can experience the promise of the command that ends verse 6, "all these things will be added on to you."
This week is a great opportunity to re-evaluate your priority list or make a brand New Priority List.
At the beginning of each day we must keep life in the right Priority List.

Daily Application:
Day 1:Tell God this week, " Lord, speak to me, your servant is here and listening."
Spend time in prayer and listening for God's voice. As you read your Bible and learn God's
character through your time in the Word you will learn to hear God's voice. He will answer you.
Day 2: Read Matthew 6:33 three times today and meditate on it all day. Write it on a 3x5 card.
Day 3: Ask God to help you keep Him first in your daily life. Say Matt. 6:33 at every meal time.
Day 4: Start today and make your priority List for God, Family and work.
Day 5: Seek the Lord in study and prayer today with a deep passion to know God's Priority for your life.
Day 6: Say "Yes!" to God and be obedient to what He shows you to do to re-prioritize your life today?
Day 7: Spend today thanking God with a grateful heart.
Be encouraged. As you seek and serve God first in your life God has made a promise that you will see the light of God and experience His holy presence.
