MOUNTAIN CLIMBING

Job 9: 4-6

"For God is so wise and so mighty.
Who has ever challenged him successfully?
“Without warning, he moves the mountains,
      overturning them in his anger.
"He shakes the earth from its place,
      and its foundations tremble."

Do you like to go hiking?
Are you a person who loves to take a vacation in the rolling mountainsides?
Do you feel like you are climbing up a steep mountain of issues or circumstances that are hard and challenging day after day and week after week?

Some people can get so frustrated with things that they are facing on a daily basis. We think we are facing a huge unmovable mountain and we become overwhelmed with emotions or dread.

I received very good advice from my mentor this week when I mentioned the mountain I was facing.
She was so encouraging and wise to share this one thought with me. If you are willing to step up with God, I know you will be blessed as I was as you seek the face of Jesus.

Here is the thought for the day:

DON'T MEASURE THE SIZE OF THE MOUNTAIN, TALK TO THE ONE WHO CAN MOVE IT!

Matthew 17:20

Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible."

God is in the mountain moving business.

Pray and ask God to help you with your mountain.

Isaiah 54:10
"For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the LORD, who has mercy on you."
