TIME TO BLOOM

Ecclesiastes 3:11

“Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart.”

“Bloom Where You Are Planted.”

You can find this statement printed on cards and plaques in gift shops and Hobby stores for sale anytime of the year.
A mentor and friend of mine ask me to evaluate my life with this one tough question:

“Am I willing to Bloom Where God Plants Me?”

Good question.

I’d like to say that the immediate and sincere answer was “YES!” but in all honesty I guess I am pretending at times in certain issues and areas of my life.
The problem with pretending is that the only person truly fooled is myself. Of course, God knows what I’m thinking and what I’m hiding so, God is not fooled.

1 John 3:20
“Even if we feel guilty, God is greater than our feelings, and he knows everything.”

I have decided it is time to drop my pretense and get real with God.

How about you?

Are you at a point in your life where you are willing to go all out and be real with yourself and with God?

If the answer is “no!” take a moment and ask yourself:
Why can’t I move towards God? Why am I stuck?

Could it be anger? Fear? Anxiety? Pride? Hurt? Past mistakes?
Doubt? Present hardships? Loneliness? Exhaustion?

You are not alone in any of the reasons that hinder your willingness to be real with God. If we are honest with ourselves, all of us struggle with obstacles and things that hinder our hearts toward God.

The great news about God is He cares and is right there with you where you are. God is waiting to be invited into your situation and more importantly; He is willing to walk you through it.

The choice is yours. You must invite Him in and ask Him for forgiveness, guidance, mercy and grace.

If the answer to the question is “Yes! I am willing to be real with God!” then talk to God and experience the presence of the Almighty King.

As you walk through the tough things in life with Jesus as your personal Savior you will begin to BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED.

The circumstances may not change but YOU WILL and others around you will notice the change.

Now is the time to be honest and seek God for wisdom and healing.

Today’s Thought:

God, help me bloom where You plant me!
