You Are Called By Name

Isaiah 43:1

But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you.
    O Israel, the one who formed you says,
“Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you.
    I have called you by name; you are mine.

Isaiah 43 reminds us of the wonderful and awesome power of our Incredible Creator God.

God is constantly telling us in the Old and New Testament: 
"Do not be afraid for I am with you.".
"I know your name and you are mine."

God calls us each by name and as we accept the Lord as our personal Savior we know we belong to Him and His family. 


The enemy continues to try to convince us that we are insignificant and no one knows us. Remember in John 8:44 where it is written,"the enemy, the devil is a liar and the "the father of lies."

The truth is found in Jesus Christ.
John 14:6 
"I am the Way, the Truth and the Life."


We need to encourage ourselves (and others) by telling ourselves the truth. 


The devil speaks negative lies like: 
"loser", "failure", "useless", "ugly" and more.


Jesus Christ gives us words of hope:
"You are mine"
"I love you" 
"I created you and you are special" 
"with Me all things are possible" 
"keep trying, keep living, keep enduring" 
"I AM WITH YOU!"
