1 Samuel 3:19
“The Lord was with Samuel as he grew up, and he let none of
his words fall to the ground.”
Final Character Analysis of the Four Main People in 1 Samuel
Part 2 Samuel: Godly Leadership Willing To Listen
Samuel was a judge, prophet, priest, counselor and most of
all a servant of God. Unlike other great people of the Bible, Samuel is special
because we have the information of Samuel’s divinely appointment from God
beginning with his childhood years. He grew up working under the High Priest
Eli until God directed him to full responsibilities in other chosen areas of
leadership.
Samuel is a great example for all of us to be good listeners
for God’s directions and follow the instructions we receive (1 Samuel 3:1-21.) Samuel’s accomplishments are directly
connected to his deep and consistent relationship with God. Samuel learned to
hear the voice of God, follow His commands, and speak the truth no matter what.
How is your leadership?
How is your relationship with God doing?
Whether you are leading at home, work, school, church or
community your success will depend on your relationship with God. Proverbs 16:3
As you read God’s Word and seek wisdom and guidance to apply
to your life,
you will be able to see the hand of God in daily walk.
Are you a servant of the Lord?
Are you willing to serve others?
God is longing to see all of us have a servant heart for Him
and the things of God.
God is searching the earth for godly men and women who have
the courage to be set apart, hear His voice and speak boldly the message of
Christ.
APPLICATION:
Be encouraged to seek God today. Ask God to reveal His truth
to you and give you a deep desire to know Him more and stand up boldly for Him
to witness to the next generation.
