GOD IS MY STRENGTH

Habakkuk 3:19
“The Sovereign LORD is my strength!”

Are you feeling weak? Do you have low energy and strength? Have you been thinking to yourself, “Can I keep going like this?”

Some people add a vitamin to their daily morning routine. Others force themselves to stay physically active and get their blood circulating. Don’t forget to add your fruits, nuts, veggies and protein to the nutritious meals you are cooking at home each night.

But did you know that God promises that He will be our strength?

Let's begin today and start a regular routine of reading the Word of God to give us strength spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally. God promises us in Isaiah 55:11
"My Word will not return empty."

Today I want to encourage you to read the following Scriptures every day this week and spend some one-on-one time alone with God. Take some time to fall on your knees in prayer. It is my hearts desire to seek God in a deeper more personal way as never before.  There are more than 230 verses in the Bible that proclaim God is my strength
As you read (out loud if possible) the following eight verses to get you started, ask the Holy Spirit to help you accept and live your life in the truth of each one.

Exodus 15:2 The Lord is my strength and my song; He has given me victory.

Isaiah 40:29-30 He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.
Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in
exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They
will soar high on wings like eagles. They will walk and not faint.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard
           you from the evil one.

Psalm 59:9 You are my strength; I wait for you to rescue me, for you, O God,
           are my fortress.

Psalm 71:7 My life is an example to many, because you have been my strength
           and my protection.

Jeremiah 27:5 With My great strength and powerful arm I made the earth and all
           its people and every animal.

2 Chronicles 16:9 The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to
strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him.

Now go through your day and week, my friend in Christ, in peace and strength knowing that all of your strength comes from your Almighty God!
CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK: Memorize one of the verses listed above!
